INSIDE ASSASSIN'S CREED SHADOWS
Naoe and Yasuke's stories converge during the late Sengoku period. Changing seasons and weather affect the world they cross, while a network of scouts and allies supports the search for targets.
Agility and distractions support quiet infiltration. Naoe uses noise, light and cover to avoid detection. Kunai, shuriken and smoke bombs can distract guards, while a grappling hook and parkour offer ways into defended spaces before she closes with the hidden blade.
Powerful weapons and parries favor a direct approach. Yasuke's skills emphasize attacking, blocking and parrying. Weapons such as the katana, kanabo and naginata give him different ways to handle an encounter, making the switch of protagonist a change in combat tools as well as perspective.
Scouts and allies help identify the next target. Exploration and a network of spies reveal information across the map. Specialized allies provide additional support, so preparation can begin before either protagonist reaches the mission location.
