INSIDE ASSASSIN'S CREED SHADOWS DIGITAL DELUXE EDITION
Two approaches to a guarded world
Shadows pairs two protagonists whose skills change how you approach a target. Its open world brings weather, seasons and information-gathering into those decisions, so preparing an approach matters before the first attack.
Naoe's infiltration
Use light, noise and vertical routes. Naoe can move through shadows, distract guards with tools and use a grappling hook to reach a position. Her approach rewards reading how enemies react to their surroundings. The aim is to reach the target with control over when the encounter becomes visible.
Yasuke's combat
Meet resistance with a different arsenal. Yasuke has a more direct fighting style built around powerful attacks, blocks and parries. Weapons such as the katana, kanabo, bow and naginata provide different options. His separate skills and equipment make switching characters a gameplay choice, not just a change of costume.
Scouting and the shinobi league
Turn information into a route to the target. Exploration and a network of spies reveal areas and help locate targets. Recruiting allies adds specialist support, while the hideout gives the league a home. Weather and changing seasons influence the environment around an approach, adding reasons to observe before acting.
