INSIDE ASSASSIN'S CREED VALHALLA
The journey from Norway brings Eivor into the politics of English kingdoms. Alliances and settlement growth connect the clan's larger ambitions to local stories, giving raids a purpose beyond the immediate spoils.
Victories provide resources for the clan. Eivor leads assaults with allied Vikings, bringing the rewards back to the settlement. Traveling by longship ties the rivers to the campaign's movement, while raids connect combat with the community you are trying to build.
Buildings add services and character to the settlement. A barracks, blacksmith and other facilities give you reasons to invest in the clan's home. Recruiting members and customizing the settlement make returning from a distant mission part of progression rather than a pause outside the game.
Weapons and RPG progression change close combat. Dual-wield axes, swords or shields and develop the equipment and skills that support your approach. Dialogue and alliance choices sit beside that combat progression, so building political strength and winning a fight remain connected but different tasks.
