Black Ops 6 places its spy story in the early 1990s as the Cold War ends. Frank Woods and his allies are cut off from the organization they served, while the other modes use the game's movement and gunplay for competitive and cooperative sessions.
Heists and infiltration vary the pace of the story. The campaign follows operatives trying to expose a force inside the CIA after being branded traitors. Its missions move between covert activity and larger action sequences, with the team's loss of official support shaping the conflict.
Chain combat movement in different directions. Omnimovement changes how players connect maneuvers rather than limiting movement to a forward-facing sprint. Core and Strike maps offer different combat spaces, giving awareness of angles and positioning a role alongside the chosen weapon.
Survive waves while managing the pressure between them. Zombies centers on rounds of undead enemies instead of Modern Warfare III's open-world format. The shared goal is to keep the run alive as pressure increases, providing a cooperative alternative to the head-to-head multiplayer matches.
