Black Ops 7 connects very different sessions through progression. You can follow a story mission, compete in a short match or work with a group to survive another round. Weapon and player progression give those choices a continuing goal beyond finishing the campaign.
Follow the story solo or as a squad. Take on missions solo or in co-op, from Japan and the Mediterranean to Avalon. The campaign bends reality as Mason's team confronts a new threat. Endgame extends the experience with stronger abilities and continued progression beyond the story missions.
Shape a loadout around movement and precision. Omnimovement makes movement central to combat. Build around weapons, equipment and Scorestreaks, then combine Hybrid Combat Specialties to shape your loadout. This is the part of Black Ops 7 to choose for competitive play rather than a campaign-only experience.
Survive longer with a coordinated team. Survive escalating rounds and pursue the mode's story. Standard, Directed, Survival and Cursed offer different approaches: follow objectives, focus on survival or take on a more demanding ruleset. Zombies gives a co-op group another reason to play after the campaign.

Black Ops 7 needs a continuous internet connection in every mode, including solo Campaign.
On PS5, install the PS5 version of the game; the Cross-Gen download may also list the PS4 version.
Game requirements: Activision SupportPlayStation Plus is required for online Campaign co-op, Multiplayer, Zombies and social features. Solo Campaign does not require PlayStation Plus.
A PlayStation Network profile and an Activision account are required. Activision states that console players may also need a mobile number linked to their Activision account.
Allow room for the game and mandatory updates. Download size varies with installed content; check the current size on your console.
