INSIDE CALL OF DUTY: MODERN WARFARE 4
Campaign, competition and a way out
Modern Warfare 4 separates its military action into three rhythms. Campaign missions set the pace for a global conflict, Multiplayer focuses on the next contest, and DMZ makes leaving with your objective part of the challenge. Standard includes those core modes without the Vault reward package.
Campaign
Follow a conflict from the front line to covert operations. Private Park's South Korean squad faces an invasion while Captain Price works outside the system. Missions move between trench fighting, urban encounters, chases and night raids in locations including Korea, New York, Paris and Mumbai. These shifts give the authored story a broader range than a single recurring battlefield.
Multiplayer
Build precision through repeated competitive matches. The multiplayer combines new 6v6 maps with larger spaces for infantry and vehicles. Aiming, weapon handling, stance and sound form part of the gunplay system, making how you read an engagement important alongside movement. It is the mode built around improving a loadout and decisions over a succession of matches.
DMZ
Choose what to secure and when to extract. Deploy alone or with a squad into contested territory to recover military technology and supplies. Objectives, other players and the equipment you carry create competing pressures during a run. You can fight, negotiate or avoid a confrontation, but the value of an expedition depends on getting out with what matters.
