INSIDE EA SPORTS FC 25
Small-sided matches and a more detailed team plan
FC 25's main additions affect both the length of a session and the way a team moves. Rush offers smaller sides, while FC IQ makes player roles part of the tactical setup alongside formation and personnel.
5v5 Rush
Smaller teams create a different match rhythm. Rush brings five-a-side play to supported modes including Ultimate Team, Clubs and Kick-Off. With fewer players on the pitch, it offers a compact alternative to the traditional match format and another way to join friends.
FC IQ player roles
Set responsibilities beyond the formation diagram. Player Roles influence team movement and tactical behavior. Choosing how a footballer should operate adds another decision to squad building, so fitting a player into a role can matter alongside the position shown on the team sheet.
Manager, player and club progression
Longer formats give matches a continuing purpose. Manager and Player Career provide season-to-season goals, including women's career football. Clubs develops a shared team with friends and includes Facilities, giving online players another kind of progression beyond collecting Ultimate Team Player Items.
