The remastered original Gears of War, its bonus campaign act and original post-launch multiplayer maps, characters and cosmetics.
Later Gears of War campaigns are not included. Time-limited preorder beta access and preorder-only rewards are not part of the ongoing purchase.
INSIDE GEARS OF WAR: RELOADED
Reloaded brings the original Gears of War story to PS5, combining a cover-based campaign with Versus multiplayer. The campaign can be played alone or alongside a friend, making it suited to a shared action session.
Advance through a world already at war. Marcus Fenix rejoins Delta Squad after his release from prison. The campaign follows the group against the Locust threat, with third-person cover combat shaping the pressure of each encounter. It is the original story, including its additional campaign act.
Take the journey with another player. A friend can join through split-screen on one console or online co-op. Working through the same campaign provides a shared narrative as well as firefights. Local play is particularly useful when you want a complete action adventure together on one television.
Use the weapons against another squad. Competitive modes continue beyond the story, with the original game's post-launch maps included. Crossplay lets players on different supported platforms join together. Multiplayer runs at up to 120fps on a capable setup, separate from the requirements for simply playing the game.
