INSIDE GRAND THEFT AUTO: THE TRILOGY – THE DEFINITIVE EDITION
The Definitive Edition collection updates the original 3D GTA trilogy with revised lighting, textures and controls influenced by GTA V. Each game remains a separate campaign with a different period, protagonist and setting.
Find a foothold in a hostile criminal underworld. Liberty City is the setting for the first of these three open-world campaigns. Moving around the city and taking on its criminal missions gives the story its structure. It provides the earlier, urban foundation from which the two later games in the collection expand.
Follow Tommy Vercetti's rise through betrayal. Tommy's story uses the excess and ambition of an eighties coastal city as the backdrop to his criminal career. It has its own cast, setting and chain of missions. This is the chapter for players drawn to that period and its distinctive atmosphere.
Take the story beyond one city. Carl Johnson returns to a life that soon sends him across the state of San Andreas. Family, corrupt police and control of the streets drive his campaign. Its wider setting offers a different scale of journey from Liberty City and Vice City.

This is a collection of three complete single-player games, with separate stories and progress. It is not access to GTA Online.
The collection contains three separate single-player games. Their upgraded presentation does not turn them into a shared campaign or GTA Online access.
Game requirements: PlayStationPlayStation lists PS4 and PS5 versions for the collection. Select the matching access option; the PS5 option is listed as PS5 software.
The campaigns support offline play after installation; a multiplayer subscription is not needed for their single-player stories.
