INSIDE HALLOWEEN DIGITAL DELUXE EDITION
Two sides of Halloween night
Halloween uses the same Haddonfield setting for a standalone Michael Myers story and asymmetrical online matches. The living neighborhood is the link between them: residents react to danger and can change how an encounter unfolds.
Michael Myers
Stalk a neighborhood that can fight back. Michael uses shadows and stealth to get close to residents before they raise the alarm. Detection matters because townsfolk can resist and call the authorities. The standalone story also lets you follow the events of Halloween night through his perspective.
Heroes of Haddonfield
Rescue residents while one player hunts you. In one-versus-four online matches, the heroes gather household objects and weapons, warn residents and help them escape. Knocking Michael down buys time rather than permanently removing the threat. The objective is getting people to safety, not winning a conventional deathmatch.
A neighborhood that reacts
Use townsfolk and police to change the situation. Convincing residents to call for help can increase the police presence. Heroes can also equip and direct townsfolk, creating opportunities to delay Michael or reach an escape. Those reactions turn the streets and houses into part of the match, rather than passive scenery.
