INSIDE IT TAKES TWO
Cody and May become dolls in a world where their relationship turns into physical obstacles. New settings keep changing the rules, so both people learn fresh interactions together throughout the story.
Each partner has an active part in getting through a level. Cody and May receive connected abilities rather than identical toolkits. Progress depends on using those differences together, which makes communication and timing part of ordinary play instead of reserving teamwork for an occasional special challenge.
Platforming gives way to unexpected cooperative tasks. The journey moves through encounters with hostile squirrels, a nightclub and a snow globe, among other settings. A mechanic learned in one stage can give way to something new in the next, keeping the pair working out solutions together.
Split-screen keeps both halves of the action visible. The adventure supports local and online cooperative play. Friend's Pass offers a way for an eligible online partner to join a full-game owner, while couch play puts both roles on the same television with two controllers.
