INSIDE LOST SOUL ASIDE
Kaser pursues the Voidrax after they take his sister Louisa's soul. That rescue carries him through snowy landscapes, ruined structures and unfamiliar dimensions, with new allies joining a story about family and sacrifice.
Change reach and power without abandoning an attack. The sword provides a balanced starting point, while the greatsword trades speed for heavier hits and defensive options. Switching weapons during a combo lets you respond to distance and openings as a fight develops instead of choosing one tool for the entire encounter.
Aerial movement gives fast weapons room to work. The poleblade emphasizes reach, mobility and staying airborne. The scythe favors quick repositioning and rapid attacks. Those differences give you a choice between holding your position and continually moving around an enemy while building a longer sequence of strikes.
Defensive timing works alongside character progression. Kaser can parry incoming attacks and gain experience to develop his skills. New weapon stats expand the available approaches, but progress still asks you to read an opponent and find time to attack. The combat is hands-on action throughout, rather than turn-based party management.
