Equipment and breaching
Select equipment and plan the breach around each location. Select the squad's weapons and gear to suit the operation, then position officers for the entry. Sightlines and cover need care because rounds can pass through walls, furniture and bodies. Equipment choice and movement work together throughout the mission.
Rules of engagement
Assess suspects, civilians and hostages before taking action. Civilians, hostages and suspects can occupy the same location. Securing the scene means recognizing who is dangerous and apprehending threats where possible. The pressure comes from deciding what you are seeing while events unfold, rather than treating every figure as a target.
Squad command and co-op
Command the AI squad alone or coordinate with up to four other players. Single-player command carries responsibility for the squad, including the psychological effect of casualties on surviving officers. Online co-op lets up to five players coordinate the operation themselves. Crossplay widens the pool of teammates, but communication remains central to a controlled entry.
