INSIDE REANIMAL
REANIMAL follows two children trying to rescue their missing friends. Its horror comes from vulnerability, disturbing surroundings and the need to keep moving together, with solo play available as well as co-op.
Find a route through a place once called home. The brother and sister explore by boat and on foot, using their wits to survive and escape. The change between waterways and land gives the island a sense of a connected journey. The objective remains rescuing their friends rather than clearing a competitive arena.
Discover places that explain the island. Mysterious locations hold parts of the fragmented story away from the direct route. Exploring them adds context to the children's past and the world around them. The monsters and character designs draw on that troubled history, linking the horror to the protagonists.
Share the danger from the same viewpoint. Local and online co-op use a shared, directed camera. Both players experience the same constrained view, which keeps danger close rather than separating the screen into two safe perspectives. The game can also be played alone when a partner is unavailable.
