INSIDE RESIDENT EVIL REMAKE TRILOGY
Three remakes, three kinds of survival
The collection moves from Raccoon City's 1998 outbreak to the escape that unfolds around the same disaster, then follows Leon on a rescue mission six years later. Each game puts survival horror in a different situation, so the package is more than three versions of the same encounter.
Resident Evil 2: Leon and Claire
Follow two separate campaigns through the same outbreak. Set during Raccoon City's September 1998 outbreak, the remake has separate campaigns for Leon and Claire, each offering a different perspective on the city's collapse. PlayStation's official overview describes both campaigns in a third-person view.
Resident Evil 3: Jill and the Nemesis
Exploration, puzzles and an over-the-shoulder escape. Jill Valentine tries to escape Raccoon City in the hours before and after Resident Evil 2. The Nemesis pursues her through the outbreak, while updated controls and an over-the-shoulder camera bring the danger close. The package also includes Resident Evil Resistance, a separate online asymmetrical mode for one Mastermind against up to four Survivors.
Resident Evil 4: Leon's rescue mission
Use combat, inventory and stealth as the situation changes. Six years after Raccoon City, Leon searches a remote European village for the president's kidnapped daughter. Reworked action lets you respond to villagers with gunfire, melee or escape; knife parries, stealth and ammo crafting add other choices. Organize supplies in Leon's attaché case, then continue with the included Gold Edition content and Mercenaries mode.
